Actress, Uche Ogbodo in a new interview with NET TV, spoke about her upcoming movie, Stolen Vow, a movie which talks about the evils of domestic violence. When asked if it was inspired by her life, she said she could relate to the main character. She also disclosed that her ex-husband to whom she was married to for just about a month is yet to see their three year old daughter. Speaking on her inspiration, she said; On a really bad day, my motivation is my daughter. She’s my strength .I think God blessed me with that little girl.When I look at her or she looks at me when I’m feeling down,I remember why I’m here. So I have to survive and succeed so she can succeed.

On her baby daddy’s relationship with their daughter, she said; He’s not ready to meet her yet. I think. Maybe he has his own reasons or demons.He doesn’t call, hasn’t met her. I’m sure when he’s ready. On the type of man she wants, she said; A God fearing ,supportive man.A man who can not stand tears in my eyes.That’s the man I want. Ghanaian Singer, Efya has cleared the air about rumors making rounds that she was in an intimate relationship with Nigerian singer, Wizkid. According to her, the rumours are hear say because there is no way she will get intimate with the Nigerian star. Recall in May 2016, shortly after Wizkid’s performance at the Ghana Music Awards, the singer revealed that he has signed Ghanaian musicians Efya, R2Bees and Mr. Eazi to his Starboy Worldwide Entertainment. Rumours has it that, Wizkid and Efya were more than label mates. The reports further gained roots when in September 2016, Wizkid shared a photo of him with Efya wearing a top that revealed her boobs.

But in an interview with Deloris Frimpong-Manso (Delay) on the Delay Show which happened yesterday (September 24, 2017), Efya, Ghanaian songstress, revealed that Wizkid only dated her step-sister and therefore she cannot get that far with him. MyJoyOnline reports. “It’s definitely not sex… [he dated my younger sister]…so there is no way. Me and him can ever get sexual in that way,” she cleared the air. Efya, however, failed to reveal the identity of the said sister. According to her, the Nigerian is her younger brother and they have mutual respect for each other. “We make amazing music together, we have such a great vibe…It’s like we are family already,” the singer added.

MERCY AIGBE, TONTO DIKEH REACT EXTENSIVELY TO MONALISA’S STANDPOINT ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Days after Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda, recently said in an interview that women are usually the cause of domestic violence, her colleagues, Tonto Dikeh and Mercy Aigbe have reacted negatively to this standpoint. For Mercy and Tonto, domestic violence does not only affect the woman but the children that are been raised in such an unhealthy environment. According to Mercy Aigbe and Tonto Dikeh, a child/children raised in an environment of violence ends up being emotionally, physically and psychologically damaged. Adding that such a child/children grow up to be violent too. Sharing a picture of a man verbally abusing his wife on her IG page, Mercy wrote, “Can we take a minute to think of the effect this barbaric act has on the kids? A Child should not grow up in such unhealthy environment! Children who are exposed to domestic violence experience emotional, mental, damage that can affect their developmental growth…… They go through depression, anxiety and severe emotional and physiological trauma! Our Duty as parents is to make our children feel safe and loved and not to cause them untold pain that can damage their lives!” However, Tonto Dikeh has also shared her view on Mercy’s post, “The Worse kind of pain for a child isn’t a broken home,is raising up a child in a violent environment.. 99% chances are that a child who witnesses his parent take violence will become violent because that the only type of Life they Know!!! There’s is nothing normal about a Man beating a Woman OR vice versa.. SAY NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.. #WOMEN YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND YOU DESERVE BETTER.” Recalled that Tonto Dikeh lost her marriage to alleged domestic violence claims which have left her to be a single mum and Mercy Aigbe has been separated from her husband Larry Gentry also because of domestic violence.

Nollywood actor, Ramsey Nouah, has cleared the air on his real nationality, despite speculations among movie fans in the country that he is a foreigner. While fielding questions as a guest of Classic 97.3 FM radio recently, the actor, who was the subject of a death rumour that went viral on the social media in July, insisted that he would prefer to be addressed as a Nigerian and not as an Israeli He said, “I am Nigerian. Although I am also partly Israeli and Lebanese, I carry only the Nigerian passport. I was born and raised in Nigeria. All my life I have lived in this country and I have never been to either Israel or Lebanon where my paternal grandparents come from. Basically, this is my home and where I have found myself.” However, anyone who has seen Nouah’s latest comic film, My Wife and I, in which he co-stars with Omoni Oboli for the first time in nine years (since the production of Kunle Afolayan’s Figurine), may be having other ideas about his ability to keep a marriage intact. But, the actor gave a different impression during the interview. Nouah revealed that, apart from being happily married, he is blessed with three children — two daughters and a son — that he cherishes so much. Actor Prince Eke has accused his wife, Muma Gee, of being a pathological liar. Yesterday, Muma Gee granted a tell-all interview to Punch where she spoke about her crashed marriage to Eke. In the interview, she accused him of domestic violence, sleeping with upcoming actresses and proposing to four women while they were married as well as abandoning the welfare of their children to her. LIB reached out to Eke to get his reaction to all the allegations leveled against him by his estranged wife and mother of his children. Eke who is currently in the US, denied abandoning their children with her and also sent in screenshots of WhatsApp conversations he had with Muma Gee in which he claims she was praising him for being a good dad. He also sent in screenshots of bank transfer receipts from transaction he had done from his account to hers. According to him, Muma Gee is a pathological liar who is trying so hard to pull him down. ‘’I am attaching munched messages were she says ‘’thank you for being a responsible father’’. She tries to give the world an impression that she is the one that she spoon-feeds me. I am attaching bank transactions with evidence of monies I have sent to her for my children’s upkeep not to brag but to show that she lied because as a responsible father I have to send money for my children. I give money for upkeep I don’t get receipts because I don’t need it, if I wasn’t taking care of the family while I was in Nigeria and still married will I now start sending money when am away and no longer married to her? She ran away from the house to her friend’s house who later accused her of stealing and when she reached out to me she said she didn’t steal but bought a dress she hadn’t paid for which cost N50, 000 and I sent her the money which she used to clear that, as I don’t want people to see the mother of my kids as a thief. I know Muma Gee decided to do this now because she feels it’s high time she runs me down but truth is she can’t run me down, as she rightly said she is releasing her single and she wants publicity but this is bad publicity and the attention she wants am giving her now. The difference between myself and her is I will show you evidence. When I send money for school fees I ask her to take a photograph of the receipt and send to me, now I do all these because I know who she is. The receipts of the fees are attached below. She told me my children are supposed to pay for excursion and end of term party, she took a photograph of something written with a pen as I asked for the letter from the school, you will find the attached image beneath this. I asked her to find out why a child less than 5 is paying 11,500 for a party at school and she refused to go to the school to inquire. I said I will send someone and she says in a whatsapp message in screenshot attached below ‘’Oma will be 1 next on the 18th of August she should be dedicated to God @ 1 as part of the celebration of her birthday. Please also get the same person you are sending to that school to organize all at once’’ I still sent N30, 000 as I didn’t want issues. She stopped picking my calls after this which was from the 23rd of July 2017 till date. I still sent N70, 000 two weeks after. I have sent her as little as a N8,000 to buy gas as she wanted to use a stove to cook and I told her not to as I take care of everything. This isn’t to say I am complaining about sending money for my kid’s upkeep but to debunk every accusation with evidence I have at my disposal and those which I don’t have evidence for I leave to God to handle so as to make sure she doesn’t use me to get pity for the single she wants to release. I am doing all these to prove that Muma is a pathological liar. When I was in Nigeria I took her to the commissioner of police as she accused me of domestic violence and when she was diffused and she had no proof next thing she said was that we should forget about that. I do not have any intentions of running her down all these is to clear the accusations she laid against me of not taking care of my kids, I am not bragging, this is to show that I am not an irresponsible father. I am not trying to exchange words with her, she is better without me so let’s all move on’’
