A photo of the woman who was beheaded in Lagos has emerged. The photo showed that she was a pretty woman full of life before her untimely death. (See Full Graphic Photo Here) She was beheaded by a 61-year-old Toafeek Hassan, who was arrested on Monday with the head and other body parts of the woman. Hassan later led policemen to a bush where he committed the act. More of the dead woman’s body parts were recovered near Ikoga River in Badagry area of Lagos. The woman’s identity is still unknown, it was gathered that the woman had approached a Muslim cleric, Alfa, for spiritual cleansing in Sango Otta. The cleric was said to have taken her to a herbalist in Badagry, who in turn brought her to Ikoga community, where the supposed cleansing was expected to take place. While waiting, Hassan allegedly sprayed her with a whitish substance, which put her to sleep. Thereafter, he dragged her into the bush where he butchered her. On reaching the river yesterday, the policemen and the suspect used a boat to cross to the other side and walked for about 15 minutes. The other parts of the woman—tongue, limbs, eyes and her waist, with a yellow and pink-coloured wrapper on it— were discovered near a cocoyam plant. The recovered parts, according to Hassan, would be sold to herbalists and other clerics for money rituals and other concoctions for the cure of strange ailments. The gory sight threw the community into shock as residents came out to have a glimpse. Some of them expressed disappointment over the arrival of policemen when Hassan was arrested, saying he deserved to be killed without being taken to the station. They rained curses on Hassan as he was whisked away with the exhibits in the police van. Investigation, according to the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olarinde Cole- Famous, was still ongoing.

Secondary school student hangs himself after his girlfriend dumped him for someone more handsome

An Ugandan High school student took his own life after he was dumped by his girlfriend. According to a Facebook User, Jersey Sarprise, who shared the photos, the young man hanged himself to a tree after reportedly receiving a letter from his estranged bae, telling him she has found a new handsome boyfriend.

A Zimbabwean Pastor has sparked media outrage over his methods of healing his congregants and performing miracles. The pastor who rolls metal barrels over his church members joins the list of other controversial pastors who employ unconventional methods of performing miracles which includes giving insecticides to members, ordering them to masturbate and much more. Prophet Wiriranayi Gomani of Jubilee City International Church in Zimbabwe reportedly walks over his members and sometimes rolls drums over them to perform miracles. The self-proclaimed man of God while justifying his methods said: ”When we heal people they will be in comatose a spirit where angels will be surrounding them and giving them strength spiritually.” “I do not use juju or any spirit but it is the power of God l support that with a verse in the bible Genesis chapter 2 verse 21 to 24 when Adam was put into a deep sleep by God to remove a rib so as to create Eve without any pain. “In a similar incident in Exodus chapter 24 Moses took 40 days and 40 nights without food and he never got hungry but was finally advised to build Ark that is comatose.” A local media in Kwayedza reported that many of the church members have testified positively to the prophet’s healing methods.
