Peter Okoye is currently being dragged through the mud on Instagram after he made a post that has been deemed insensitive by many. The one half of singing duo- PSquare, took to his handle to call out Nigerians for demanding that celebrities stand up in the face of the ongoing economic situation. A likely response to the backlash that many celebrities have suffered in the last few days for failing to show up at the #IStandWithNigeria protest on 6 February after 2face backed out, Peter Okoye posted a thumbs down emoji and captioned it; “celebs dis!… Celebs dat! Like seriously! Face the F**king Govt! We no theif the money wey we dey enjoy, we work so hard for am! #EnoughIsEnough. Blaming celebrities over Government issues is that not insanity??? let’s keep praying for our dear country that’s all we need for now”
After posting that, and fans started blasting him for being insensitive, he edited the post and disabled the comment.
